The re-vitalised Glover studio is the only nineteenth-century artist’s studio in Australia and well demonstrates how Glover worked. Lit from above by four glass- tile skylights, the uninterrupted walls were suitable for displaying his paintings. Glover, similar to many artists, would probably have worked on several paintings at once. After finishing them on an easel, he would have put them for a time on the walls of the exhibition room, almost certainly without frames.
